Einstein & General Relativity

General Relativity is a theory on the nature of gravity and space and how they interact with each other.

In past eras, Isaac Newton believed that Gravity was caused by a “connection” between the two bodies attracting each other but since no connection could ever be found, physicists continued to search for a theory that could be proven.

In comes Albert Einstein where he formed his General Theory of Relativity, in effect, there is a 4th dimension that we cannot see yet it is there nonetheless. It can be proven by various observations in space and light being manipulated in a way that could only be when spacetime is being bent.

Einstein discovered that this fourth dimension, spacetime, is like a fabric over the universe and bodies with large mass can bend this fabric under there mass. When that space time is bent and curved, time itself will run slower relative to an individual not within the bent space time.
